Hourglass 05:55
While Pondering Good Times Gone Past I Ride the Rushing Hourglass The Thoughts of Friends no longer mine Enslaved unto the Sands of Time The Smiles the Memories have Lit Fade quickly as Reality Hits and ushers in a sense of Need a Taste of Immortality To Freeze a Moment Declared Mine Solidify the Sands of Time or Timetrip back to another Day To Break Time's Grip, Not Fade Away The Present; It will always pass While Trapped inside the Hourglass We Dream (I Hope it is No Sin...) To be On the Outside Looking In The Future Above, The Past Below I'm pulled down by the Undertow To a Single Point; a Tiny Flue Too Small for me to Pass on through In this Place where Time Subsists The Present; I cannot Resist The Future Flows Down from above and brings with it Good Times and Love And then One Day, as I know It Must The Sands will Drag me Past the Cusp And Carry Me into the Past In Present's Memories I will Last And on that day, I'll Understand The Houglass with all its Sands I'll be Watching over those Within I'll be On the Outside Looking In ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Copyright © 1993 David M. ***** Astral Athlete ***** He doesn't really know about the Meaning of Life but you know that he is Willing to Learn He's never really traveled down the Road he's On but He knows exactly Which Way to Turn The Crazy World's confusion just won't Slow him Down He tries to make the most of Every Day He wants to free the people livin' in his town who think they need to work their poor lives away His Dreams are a World Unto Themselves You know, his Life, It Feels Comparatively Plain You know I'm talkin' 'bout The Astral Athlete His mind is a road; it takes him Near and Far Yeah, He's an Astral Athlete He's light years ahead; He's seen the Moon and the Stars He's just an Astral Athlete He tries to explain, but you Just can't Relate to the Astral Athlete 'Cause he knows Every Day drags us Closer to our Fate He strives every single day to Further his Cause become a better Man than Yesterday to try to shape our home into a Better Place and make a World of Difference in His Own Way He wonders 'bout the people so Caught Up in Life and what it really takes to Open Their Eyes they'd never think to interrupt their Morning Strife and pause a moment to Watch the Sun Rise His Dreams are a World Unto Themselves You know, his Life, It Feels Comparatively Plain You know I'm talkin' 'bout The Astral Athlete His mind is a road; it takes him Near and Far Yeah, He's an Astral Athlete He's light years ahead; He's seen the Moon and the Stars He's just an Astral Athlete He tries to explain, but you Just can't Relate to the Astral Athlete 'Cause he knows Every Day drags us Closer to our Fate ***** Waves of Time ***** Time Flows On, The Forces of Life are Strong and They wear us down with each and every Day To a School Boy so young, The Year might seem so Long but soon those Fleeting years will Fade away Because the Waves of Time will come crashing down You Know We must be on Our Way The Precious Moments of each Wondrous Dawn Cannot be Saved Each Night We Sleep The Dreams make Our Lives Complete And our Waking Moments let them slip away Though our Dreams may come to pass The Future is an Hourglass So We must make the Most of Each and Every Day Because those Waves of Time, They come crashing down You Know We must be on Our Way Memories of Love and Friends Long Gone Will Fade Away Now the School Boy has grown Ten Years have Come and Gone and Responsibilities Forever Reign The Essence of our Yesterdays are hidden in a Foggy Haze The Past is Lost, The Future is to Blame Because the Waves of Time will come crashing down You Know We must be on Our Way Each Precious Moment of a Wondrous Dawn Cannot be Saved Yeah, those Waves of Time, They come crashing down You Know We must be on Our Way The Memories of Love and Friends Long Gone They Fade Away ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Copyright © 1993 David M. about

Spacetime is an elaborate view of space and time, and the emotions caused by both of them that tug on us all.

This was the band’s debut offering from the 1993 timeframe, and the initial public release for the Orion Syndrome, distributed on cassette. Several new songs and some earlier ones from the Space Traveler album were combined to form an exciting debut album. Live studio musicians were used throughout, with elaborate synth sequences using some of the time’s most advanced synthesizers, like the Roland D-50.

Spacetime was also the band’s entry release into the groundbreaking music site of the ’90s, MP3.Com. Several of the songs on the album broke into the top 10 of Progressive Rock genre on MP3.Com. “Hourglass”, one of the newer songs at that time, held at #2 in Prog Rock for over a week.
