Throw Me Out

from The Gauntlet by Orion Syndrome

/

about

Beware the Ides of March.

lyrics

So you say you've had enough
So you say you want me out
So you say I waste my time with all my friends

So you say that you don't care
and we're not going anywhere
and we're really too far gone to just pretend

So you say that I'm so bad,
but I'm the best you ever had
You better think before you kick me to the curb

I don't smoke, I don't drink
I don't cheat on you with any of your friends
But I guess there's something else that must disturb

I beg you now to really think about the kids
They're the ones who will finally lose through all of this
But when you in the end finally force me out
I'll be much better off - of that there is no doubt

You want to keep me under your thumb
You want to say just how and when
You want the power to control my entire life
Well you better think again

If you make me leave today
You know that I'll be gone for good
You really think I'm gonna come crawling back
I can't believe you'd think I would
